The continent of Asia is home to over 60% of the world’s population. Of the 6.3 billion people in the world, almost 4 billion live in Asia. It is home to the two largest nations of the world and 6 of the 10 most populace. The two most spoken languages in the world, Mandarin and Hindi, are Asian languages.

Recent Mission data indicates that churches of Christ send only 14% of their missionaries to Asia where 60% of the world’s population lives.
